My latest quick and easy breakfast obsession for a college girl on the go!

College is busy. Between classes, meetings, work, and church, time is precious and finding a break to eat can be difficult. That's where granola comes in. Quick. Easy. RelativelyRelax healthy. It's perfect to dump on top of yogurt, as granola cereal, or pour into a baggy for a quick afternoon snack. The problem is finding the right granola. I have tried so many kinds (including making my own) with varying levels of success. It is hard to find a balance between something that tastes good but is still good for you while sticking to a broke college girl budget. So many granolas are packed with sugar, and while that is totally fine (we love sugar! Balance remember ?), sometimes I want something I know is going to nourish my body and give me the energy I need to get through my day. The issue with finding healthy granola is it can be SO EXPENSIVE. We are talking $20 for one bag. I don't know about you, but that's a little out of the price range. That's where Bee Free Granola Warrior Mix comes in. Retailing at $8.95 a bag, it is a little more expensive than your Great Value granola, but it's also packed full of the natural ingredients and nutrients of the more costly brands at half the price. Sounds too good to "bee" true right? Let's dive in!

Warrior Mix First Impressions

I was skeptical about Bee Free Warrior Mix at first. It's Paleo, Gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and with no refined sugar. So what are you eating? How can it taste good? Those were my questions. But I took the risk and tried a bag. Best. Decision. Ever.

The base of the granola is almonds, assorted seeds, and almond meal, and it is naturally sweetened with honey. All-natural! After sampling some I thought it was the perfect balance of sweet without being too overpowering.

On top of making you feel good physically, their granola can make you feel good ethically. The company does a lot to give back to its community, including partnering with organizations that help those with autism get jobs. It's a win-win.

I got to try two different kinds: Clay's Chocolate Buzz and Hagen's Berry Bomb. Both were delicious and unique. I will go into more detail below.

Clay's Chocolate Buzz

The first granola I tried was Clay's Chocolate Buzz. To preface, I am not the world's biggest chocolate fan when it comes to granola. I tend to lean more towards the fruity-flavored kind. That being said, I really enjoyed it. The texture of the granola was definitely softer than others, but as texture has never bothered me, I didn't find it unappealing. It was kinda similar to a no-bake cookie. But better of course.

For me, I recommend having this kind with something sweeter to balance out the more-bitter cocoa powder. I really liked mixing it with my vanilla yogurt and some peanut butter. It was like a Reeces Parfait! Perfect for a quick and easy breakfast. Overall, I would give it an 8/10!

Hagen's Berry Bomb

Ladies and gentlemen... her! I loved this granola. It was the perfect balance of sweet and nutty. It goes perfectly with vanilla greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey, dumped in a bowl with a dash of milk, or great for munching on with a spoonful of peanut butter. Warning: this stuff is addictive and once you start munching you may not stop! 10/10!

Final Thoughts

Bee Free Warrior Mix is the perfect natural granola for those who are looking for a healthier alternative to other granolas or have certain food sensitivities. I really liked it with yogurt, but there are so many different ways to eat it. If you go to their website, they actually have a ton of recipes you can follow! From protein bars to brownies, the possibilities are endless.
